Notably, India’s first-time Olympic athlete Swapnil Kusale earned India its first bronze medal in the men’s 50m rifle at the Paris Olympics on Thursday. Swapnil, who finished seventh in qualifying, secured third place in the eight-shooter final with 451.4 points.
