Indian Railways Flaunts its Future Custodians.
Nov 2025 : Under the collaboration and inspiring leadership of Mrs. Manisha Gupta, President, Eastern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ERWWO), Malda, a “Baby Show” was successfully organised today at the Seminar Hall of the Divisional Railway Hospital (DRH), Malda.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from children across three age groups: 0–1 year, 1–2 years, and 2–3 years. The participating children were evaluated on several health and developmental parameters, including growth pattern, nutrition, immunisation status, and general health check-up.

CMS/Malda, Mrs. Anupa Ghosh, alongside hospital doctors, nursing staff, and other medical personnel were present on the occasion. Mrs. Manisha Gupta was accompanied by ERWWO/Malda members, whose sincere involvement and enthusiasm made the event vibrant and impactful.
The initiative aimed to encourage mothers and families to prioritise early childhood care, highlighting the importance of nutrition, timely immunisation, and healthy upbringing for infants and toddlers.
Prizes were awarded to winners and infants in each age category, adding delight to the occasion. Refreshments were also distributed among the children and their families, making the event more enjoyable.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Manisha Gupta, President ERWWO/Malda, appreciated the wholehearted participation of families and emphasised that such initiatives significantly contribute towards ensuring a healthy start and a bright future for children.
Parents and participants expressed their gratitude to ERWWO/Malda and the Divisional Railway Hospital, Malda for organising such an insightful, enjoyable, and memorable event dedicated to child well-being.
