‘MahaParanashan’ Wins Three National Awards from Public Relations Society of India
Dehradun, Dec 2025: The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) presented national-level awards to the Public Relations Department of Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company (Mahapareshan) at a ceremony attended by Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, and former Chief Minister and Union Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
Mahapareshan’s PR team received three prestigious awards: Best Social Media & PR, Best Film (English), and the Bharatratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Awareness Campaign Special Award. The awards were accepted by Mahapareshan’s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Milind Awatade. Congratulating the team, Mahapareshan’s Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, praised the department for its outstanding work.
The awards were presented during the 47th Indian Public Relations Conference held at Hotel Emerald, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Distinguished attendees included Dr. Ajit Pathak, National President of PRSI; Dr. P.L.K. Murthy, Secretary; Sandeep Gupta, Chairman & CEO of Gail India Limited; and Padma Shri Dr. B.V.K. Sanjay, among others.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar credited the success to the PR department and their team effort.
