Forest Minister Inaugurates Doctors Premier League Season 5 in Alwar

Jaipur, March 2026 : Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge), Sanjay Sharma, inaugurated the Doctors Premier League Season 5 on Monday at Sunset Pavilion, Bakhtal Ki Chowki Ground in Alwar district, encouraging players and boosting their morale.

While addressing the participants, Sharma said that sports are not only essential for physical development but also play a crucial role in strengthening mental health. He emphasized that doctors are akin to God on earth, as they play a vital role in giving patients a new lease on life. He added that the medical profession is highly stressful and demanding, making it equally important for doctors to maintain their own physical and mental well-being.

Event coordinator Dr. Tarun Yadav informed that four teams are participating in the tournament: Geetanjali Titans, CLS Warriors, Harish Hurricanes, and Gurukripa Manohar Eye Stormers. The उद्घाटन (opening) match was played between CLS Warriors and Gurukripa Manohar Eye, where players from both sides showcased their talent with great enthusiasm.
