Chief Minister’s Education Gaurav Award Ceremony

On the occasion of “Teachers’ Day”, the birth anniversary of India’s first Vice President and second President Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh honoured teachers of the district with Gyandeep Award and Shikshadoot Award at the Chief Minister’s Education Gaurav Alankaran ceremony held at Padmashri Govindram Nirmalkar Auditorium, Rajnandgaon. MP Shri Santosh Pandey was present on this occasion.

District Education Officer Mr. Abhay Jaiswal informed that on the occasion of Shikshak Diwas, the birth anniversary of India’s first Vice-President and second President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, every year, at the block level, district level, division level, under the Chief Minister Gaurav Alankaran Yojana, awards are given in three categories namely Shiksha Shri Puraskar, Gyandeep Puraskar, Shikshadoot Puraskar. Under Shiksha Shri Puraskar, 3 teachers are awarded at the division level. For which teachers teaching from class 9th to class 12th are eligible, no matter by which designation they are known. Under Gyandeep Puraskar, 3 teachers are awarded at the district level. For which teachers teaching from class 6th to class 8th are eligible, no matter by which designation they are known. Under Shikshadoot Puraskar, 3 teachers are awarded at the block level. For which teachers teaching from class 1st to class 5th are eligible, no matter by which designation they are known. In the Chief Minister’s Education Gaurav Alankaran ceremony, 3 teachers are selected at the district level for the Gyandeep Award. A total of 6 teachers were given the Gyandeep Award last year and this year. Thus, 3 teachers are selected at the block level for the Shikshadoot Award. A total of 24 teachers were given the Shikshadoot Award last year and this year. Thus, 15 teachers for the year 2023 and 15 teachers for the year 2024, a total of 30 teachers were awarded the Chief Minister’s Gaurav Alankaran Samman. The primary level teacher selected under the Shikshadoot Award was honored with a citation and a cheque of Rs 5000, and the secondary level teacher selected under the Gyandeep Award was honored with a citation and a cheque of Rs 7000.

In the Chief Minister Shiksha Gaurav Alankaran ceremony, a total of 30 teachers (primary and secondary level), 15 of the year 2023 and 15 of the year 2024, were honored with the Shikshadoot Award and Gyandeep Award. The teachers who implemented innovation, education through play, entrance examination for Navodaya Vidyalaya, conducting remedial classes on holidays, tree plantation, cleanliness of the school, use of teaching and learning, FLN Room to Read, basic and innovative educational schemes and activities of the education department at their school level, played an important role in the educational and all-round development of the students studying and established their identity in the society and educational world with their tireless hard work. Those teachers were selected through the selection committee constituted at the development block and district level. How to provide meaningful education to the students in accordance with the questions asked in the annual examination to increase the educational quality level of Rajnandgaon district. In order to complete the syllabus in the stipulated time and to score maximum marks in the examination, a specialist group (peer group) of subject wise teachers of English and Hindi medium has been formed in the district. 46 members of this peer group, who have done special work on children’s homework, assignments etc. during the summer vacation, were also honored by the chief guest in the program by giving them certificates and symbols.

In the Chief Minister Shiksha Gaurav Alankaran Ceremony, teacher LB Government Secondary School Phuljhar Rajnandgaon Mrs. Savita Dhruve, teacher LB Government Pre-Secondary School Sejes Dongargarh Mrs. Anuradha Rao, teacher LB Government Pre-Secondary School Ratapayli Dongargaon Mr. Sandurlal Sahu was awarded the Gyandeep Award 2023 and teacher LB Government Secondary School Parrikhurd Rajnandgaon Mr. Shiv Kumar Sevata, teacher LB Government Pre-Secondary School Maditarai Dongargarh Mrs. Bharti Tiwari, teacher LB Government Pre-Secondary School Aliwara Chhuriya Mr. Ramprakash Chandravanshi were honored with the Gyandeep Award 2024.

Under Rajnandgaon development block, Assistant Teacher LB Harduwa Mr. Om Prakash Verma, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Basantpur Mr. Ogeshwar Prasad Sahu, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Malpuri Mr. Shatrughan Singh Bhuarya were awarded the Shikshadoot Award 2023 and Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Jurlakhurd Mrs. Veena Sahu, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Bankal Mrs. Manju Bandhav, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Parrikhurd Mr. Om Prakash Sahu were awarded the Shikshadoot Award 2024.

Under Dongargarh development block, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Maditarai Mr. Shivram Verma, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Aaledand Mr. Gannuram Sinha, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Saloni Mrs. Sheetal Singh Thakur were awarded the Shikshadoot Award 2023 and Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Kanhargaon Mr. Kuleshwar Sinha, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Dharagaon Mr. Lomas Verma, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Bhanpuri Mrs. Chandrakanta Verma were awarded the Shikshadoot Award 2024.

Under Chhuriya development block, Assistant Teacher LB Primary School Koliari Kalpalata Chandravanshi, Assistant Teacher LB Primary School Haladula Mr. Vinod Kumar Yadu, Assistant Teacher LB Primary School Kallutola Mr. Suresh Kumar Sahu were awarded the Shikshadoot Award 2023 and Assistant Teacher LB Primary School Bijepar Mr. Phagwa Ram Sinha, Assistant Teacher LB Primary School Korguda Mr. Umesh Kumar Sahu, Assistant Teacher LB Primary School Lalutola Mr. Rooplal Nayak were awarded the Shikshadoot Award 2024.

Under Dongargaon development block, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Ganeri Mrs. Kavita Sharma, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Pairi Mrs. Sumanlata Sahare, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Dewanjhitiya Mr. Yashwant Dewangan were awarded the Shikshadoot Award 2023 and Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Chichdo, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Sanginkachar Mr. Ghanaram Patel, Assistant Teacher LB Government Primary School Nathu Navagaon Mr. Naren Kumar Sahu were awarded the Shikshadoot Award 2024.
