Minister in charge Singh, Minister of State Shri Patel and MP Sharma reach Harduakala to pay tribute to the brave son

School Education Minister and Minister in charge of Katni district Shri Uday Pratap Singh, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Shri Lakhan Patel and Khajuraho MP Shri VD Sharma reached village Harduakala today to pay tribute to 24-year-old Shri Pradeep Patel, a martyred soldier, who passed away in a road accident in Pakyong, Sikkim on Thursday, 5 September.

Minister in charge Shri Uday Pratap Singh directed the district administration officials to name the government secondary school of village Harduakala after martyr Shri Patel and to install a statue and build a playground to keep the memories of the martyr alive. Minister Shri Singh informed that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced today to provide Samman Nidhi of Rs. 1 crore for the bereaved family.

In-charge Minister Shri Singh, State Minister Shri Patel, MP Shri VD Sharma, MLA Shri Sanjay Satyendra Pathak, MLA Shri Pranay Prabhat Pandey, MLA Shri Dhirendra Bahadur Singh, Collector and SP participated in the last journey of the martyr. The martyr’s body wrapped in the tricolor was given a guard of honor. The last rites were perfomed with state honors. A large number of villagers bid farewell to the martyr soldier Shri Pradeep Patel with moist eyes in his funeral procesion.

Earlier, the mortal remains of martyr soldier Shri Pradeep Patel reached his native village Harduakala, Tehsil Vijay Raghavgarh at 4:30 pm on Saturday via Katni in a decorated hearse of the army.
