There is no better fortune than sacrificing one’s life for the country- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid tribute to the mortal remains of martyr Shri Pradeep Patel, resident of Hardua village, Katni district of Madhya Pradesh, who laid down his life in Pakyong, Sikkim, at Khajuraho Airport today. Martyr Shri Patel was given the guard of honor.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the country will always be indebted to Martyr Shri Pradeep Patel for his unique contribution and dedication to the service of the nation. He said that Rs one crore will be given to the parents of martyr Shri Patel on behalf of the state government. Martyr Shri Patel was the only son of his family, he leaves behind his married elder sister and parents.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in Sanatan culture, there is no better fortune than sacrificing one’s life for the country. In the order of birth and death, those who martyred the country are remembered with special respect. The State Government stands with the family of the martyr in this difficult time. He told that Shri Patel, the brave son of Madhya Pradesh, fell into a 700-meter-deep ditch along with his army comrades killing all of them in the accident. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also paid tribute to all his colleagues who died in the accident.
On this occasion, Minister of State for Environment and Forest Shri Dilip Ahirwar, MLA Chhatarpur Smt. Lalita Yadav, MLA Maharajpur Shri Kamakhya Pratap Singh, public representatives and officials also paid tribute.
