Chief Minister Sai inaugurated Piku the Water Guardian Model.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated a special innovative model Piku the Water Guardian structure to promote water conservation at Jal-Jagar Mahotsav in Dhamtari today. He gave the message of water conservation to the people by closing the tap of the Piku model from which water was flowing wastefully. As soon as the tap was closed, the camera installed on the tap showed the photo of the Chief Minister and other public representatives present with him on a large LED display. This gave the message that by displaying the live photo of the water saver, he is being encouraged as Jal Veer.
Actually, the Piku model is completely made of useless metal elements or scrap material. This model is a unique initiative to encourage people to save water and conserve water. In this, the shape of a small peacock has been made from scrap material. Water is coming out of the mouth of the figure, which shows the flow of wasted water. There are 2 cameras installed in the figure, which shows the live photo of the person closing the tap to stop the wasteful flow of water on the large LED screen installed on the side. Seeing the photo encourages the person who stops the wastage of water. It also inspires others to save water. Chief Minister Shri Sai stopped the wastage of water by closing the tap of the model named Piku the Water Guardian. Thereafter, the photo of Chief Minister Shri Sai was seen on the LED screen installed nearby. Chief Minister Shri Sai, while inaugurating the Piku model, praised this special model that inspires water conservation. He said that this Piku model will spread awareness about water among the people. Also, people will be inspired to save water.
