Peanuts which are an all-time favourite, is believed to be a very useful source of vitamin E for protecting eyes from free-radical damage. Lack of Omega-3 in your diet may lead to dryness in the eyes. Good omega-3 sources are derived from consuming tuna, sardines, walnuts and flaxseeds. Another good source of omega-3 is Salmon which slows down eye diseases. It is believed that the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) can be reduced by consuming diet high in fibre like brown rice, whole oats, and whole wheat bread.

If you are having trouble with you vision in the night, then apricots could be an answer to your problem. Apricots are rich in beta carotene which converts into vitamin A in the body.
