Yogi govt to introduce digital solutions for devotees visiting Vindhyavasini Dham

Website and android app in the making as part of CM Yogi’s vision, soon to be available for tourists

Lucknow : In a significant move to promote religious tourism in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government is set to introduce digital solutions for devotees visiting Mata Vindhyavasini Dham. Aligning with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, a dedicated website and an Android mobile application are being developed to streamline various tourist facilities and showcase the regional tourism offerings of Vindhyachal Dham, located in Mirzapur.

The development and maintenance of these platforms have been entrusted to Uptron Powertronics Limited, which is focused on integrating modern features and a user-friendly interface.

Notably, the upcoming website and mobile app will be equipped with role-based management, reporting and analytics, and automated notifications. To ensure accessibility, the platform will feature a responsive design compatible with mobile devices. Additionally, robust security measures, including data encryption, access control, backup, and recovery mechanisms, will be incorporated to safeguard user information.

The development process will be executed in five phases: Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Testing-Integration. The website will be built on Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), ensuring a user-friendly interface that facilitates direct engagement with pilgrims. Moreover, it will enable the Regional Tourism Office to digitally manage activities, facilities, and other relevant details of the dham.

It will be accessible in both Hindi and English, making it convenient for a wider audience. Additionally, the platform will be optimized for search engines (SEO) to enhance usability. A dedicated team will oversee the development, covering system study, conceptualization, database modeling, application development, testing, bug fixing, and maintenance.

Moreover, the web portal and mobile app will also feature essential updates related to the Uttar Pradesh and central governments, along with tenders and other important announcements in a structured format.
