Reena Yadav and Seema Baghel Receive New Ration Cards at Good Governance Festival
CM Vishnu Deo Sai Acknowledged for Swift Grievance Resolution during Good Governance Fest
Bilaspur : The Chhattisgarh government’s Good Governance Festival (Sushasan Tihar) is providing timely solutions to public issues. Under this initiative, beneficiaries are receiving the benefits of various government schemes in a simple, transparent, and efficient manner through the grievance redressal camps organized as part of the festival. As a result, two beneficiaries from the municipal area—Reena Yadav and Seema Baghel—were promptly issued new ration cards after submitting applications during the Sushasan Tihar.
Mrs. Reena Yadav, a resident of Zone No. 2 under the municipal corporation, had applied for a ration card under the priority category. Upon verification, it was found that she works as a laborer in the unorganized sector and is registered as a worker (construction helper, porter) in the labor card database. After confirming her eligibility, she was issued a new priority ration card.
Similarly, Mrs. Seema Baghel had applied for a general ration card. During the verification process, it was established that she belongs to a joint and general household, and her husband, Mr. Satish Baghel, is employed as a loco pilot with Indian Railways. After all required documents were verified at the grievance camp, she was issued a new general ration card.
Both beneficiaries praised the state government’s Sushasan Tihar initiative, stating that they received the benefits of government services without any difficulty. Reena Yadav shared that despite several previous attempts, she was unable to obtain a ration card, but this scheme helped resolve a major issue for her family. Seema Baghel remarked that the Good Governance initiative launched by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is providing genuine relief to the general public.
It is noteworthy that the objective of Sushasan Tihar is to ensure transparent and effective delivery of government schemes to every eligible citizen in the state. Through this initiative, issues related to ration cards, pensions, labor cards, health insurance, sanitation, electricity, and drinking water are being resolved swiftly. The festival is fostering better coordination between the administration and the public, ensuring quicker resolution of everyday problems faced by the people.
