Quick Resolution of Grievances Is the True Hallmark of Good Governance: Minister Laxmi Rajwade

Over 2,100 Issues Resolved On-the-Spot in State-Level Camp Covering 16 Gram Panchayats

Raipur : The Chhattisgarh government is giving top priority to prompt resolution of public grievances and welfare of the people. Demonstrating this commitment, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade addressed thousands of villagers from 16 gram panchayats at a state-level grievance redressal camp in Kalyanpur village, Surajpur district. A record-breaking 2,118 issues were resolved on the spot during the camp.

Speaking to the gathering, Minister Rajwade emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state is strengthening a governance model based on transparency, sensitivity, and public participation. “Quick resolution of people’s problems is the true identity of good governance,” she affirmed.

During the camp, the Minister administered an oath to the public under the ‘Mor Gaon Mor Pani’ and Jal Shakti Abhiyan, pledging water conservation. Highlighting the importance of rainwater harvesting and soak pits, she said collective effort is essential to tackle water crises, and turning water conservation into a mass movement is the need of the hour.

As part of the ‘God Bharai’ (baby shower) ceremony, Minister Rajwade honored motherhood by blessing and feeding newborns, spreading smiles on the faces of mothers. She also distributed loan passbooks to farmers, stating, “Farmers are the backbone of our economy; their prosperity is the government’s highest priority.”

The Livestock Development Department’s mobile unit provided intensive vaccinations against diseases like HS-BQ, Galghotu, and Ek-Tangiya to protect the cattle. Minister Rajwade instructed officials to ensure timely resolution of public complaints related to revenue, food supply, health, education, and social welfare services.

The event was attended by Babulal Agrawal, District Panchayat Member Kiran Keram, Janpad Panchayat President Swati Sant Singh, Vice President Manmat Kumar Bachhad, other public representatives, sarpanches, secretaries, departmental officials, and a large number of villagers.
