Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Visits Jaisalmer

Interacts with BSF Personnel, Pays Tribute at Tanot Mata Temple, and Reviews Kishangarh Fort

Jaipur – Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma lauded the unwavering dedication of the Border Security Force (BSF), stating that its brave personnel stand guard at the nation’s borders round the clock, regardless of conditions. He praised their pivotal role not just in border protection, but also in maintaining law and order, preventing crime, managing disasters, and promoting social harmony.

The Chief Minister interacted with BSF soldiers on Saturday during his visit to the Tanot Mata temple complex, located near the India-Pakistan border. Expressing gratitude, he remarked that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s brave soldiers had made the nation proud with their heroic actions in Operation Sindoor, a military mission that sent a strong message to adversaries. “BSF and the Indian Army showcased unmatched courage in Operation Sindoor, setting a global benchmark in bravery,” he said.

BSF – A Global Leader in Border Security

CM Sharma noted that India’s BSF has emerged as the world’s largest and most prestigious border security force, having formed integrated units for land, water, and aerial surveillance. “With improved housing, healthcare, education, and modern equipment, our security forces are being empowered under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi,” he said.

He added that during Operation Sindoor, the Rajasthan government ensured that vacant posts in border districts were filled and maintained continuous communication with frontline officers. “The people living along the border display immense patriotism and deep respect for the BSF,” he added.

Tanot Mata Temple to be Expanded, New Rest House Planned

CM Sharma announced plans to enhance the grandeur of the Tanot Mata temple, a revered site known for its spiritual and patriotic significance. He revealed that a 200-room rest house will be built for devotees and visitors. “With inspiration from the Prime Minister, our government is combining development with heritage conservation. Post-2014, India has seen transformative growth in welfare schemes, border security, counter-terrorism, and international prestige,” he said.

As part of his visit, the Chief Minister also visited the historic Kishangarh Fort, which is over 1,100 years old. He explored the fort’s architectural heritage and learned about its strategic military relevance. Senior officials from the BSF, including the Inspector General, briefed him on the fort’s historical and defense importance.

Prayers for Prosperity and Homage to Martyrs

Earlier in the day, CM Sharma offered prayers at the Tanot Mata temple, seeking peace, prosperity, and well-being for the people of Rajasthan. He also laid a floral wreath at the Vijay Stambh (Victory Pillar) to pay homage to fallen soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.
