From Investment to Space Technology, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Strengthening Chhattisgarh’s Global Partnerships in Japan
Raipur, Aug 2025 : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Chhattisgarh is steadily positioning itself as a competitive and forward-looking investment destination on the global stage through sustained efforts and international collaborations.
On the second day of his Japan visit, Chief Minister Sai participated in a series of key programs aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation and global partnerships. Among them was a high-level meeting with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), where discussions centered on regional diversification, trade and technological collaboration, infrastructure development, and emerging investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
Highlighting the state’s investor-friendly policies, recent reforms, and robust support for startups and new-generation industries, the Chief Minister emphasized Chhattisgarh’s commitment to creating an enabling ecosystem for global investors.
Underscoring the importance of advanced technologies in shaping the state’s future, Chief Minister Sai also visited the “Deep Space – To the Moon and Beyond” exhibition in Tokyo. The visit holds special significance as Chhattisgarh’s proposed Space Manufacturing Cluster in Rajnandgaon, being developed with the support of the Government of India, is expected to link the state more deeply with the global space economy.
During his engagements, the Chief Minister also met members of the Indian diaspora in Japan, apprising them of Chhattisgarh’s recent policy initiatives, the positive investment climate, and employment-driven development efforts. Members of the diaspora assured him of their active support in strengthening India-Japan ties, and expressed their willingness to encourage Japanese businesses to explore investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence that his Japan visit would pave the way for greater investment, innovation, and international collaboration, marking a new chapter in Chhattisgarh’s journey toward global integration.
