India has added medal to its tally at the Paris Olympics. Indian marksman Manu Bhaker made history by winning a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event. She is the first Indian shooter to secure a medal at the Olympics, scoring a total of 221.7 points in the final. This marks India’s first medal in the ongoing Paris Olympics and the fifth Olympic shooting medal in the country’s history. Korean athletes Oh Ye Jin won gold (243.2 points) and Kim Yeji took silver (241.3 points). As Manu Bhaker aimed for the medal, the nation erupted with joy, with congratulations pouring in from all corners, including President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi
