No one has respected Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar as much as PM Modi has: CM Yogi
Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a fierce attack on the I.N.D.I alliance’s ‘Khata-Khat’ scheme in the Vidhan Sabha while discussing the supplementary budget. He said, “‘2027 me Khata-Khat nahi, Congress aur SP ka safachat hoga’ (the 2027 elections would not see the ‘Khata-Khat’ scheme but rather the end of Congress and SP).”
Addressing the State Assembly Sabha on Thursday, the Chief Minister took a jibe at the I. N. D. I. Alliance, questioning the whereabouts of the promised bond of Rs 1 lakh under the Khata-Khat scheme.
He called upon his BJP and NDA allies to engage with the public, asking them to inquire about the unfulfilled promises. “Where did the bond of one lakh go? Who consumed it, and who are the individuals responsible?”
In a pointed attack, CM Yogi denounced Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) for their allegations that PM Modi’s third term would lead to the dismantling of the Constitution. He questioned, “Who are the people who claim that the Constitution is being strangled? Prime Minister Modi has been in power for ten years—has the Constitution ended? No! In fact, the Constitution has become stronger under his leadership.”
The Chief Minister lauded PM Modi for his efforts to honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, emphasizing that no one has respected Baba Saheb as much as PM Modi. He highlighted PM Modi’s establishment of the Panch Teerths dedicated to Baba Saheb, including the grand memorial at his birthplace in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, the house in England where Baba Saheb pursued higher education, now known as India House, the Delhi residence where he spent his public life; and the site in Nagpur where he received Buddhist initiation.
He further mentioned the construction of a memorial at Chaityabhoomi in Mumbai under PM Modi’s governance, where Baba Saheb’s final rites were performed. He accused the opposition of spreading false rumors about the Prime Minister and asserted that Congress, which had previously opposed Baba Saheb, is misleading the public with its claims.
