Raipur, Oct 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the consecration ceremony (Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav) of Shri Shri Raneshwar Ramchandi Temple organized by the Kolta community in Jhagarpur village, Lailunga development block, Raigarh district. The programme was held at Swami Atmanand Government Hindi Medium Higher Secondary School, Jhagarpur, where community representatives warmly welcomed the Chief Minister with a traditional garland and tilak.
On the occasion of the temple’s consecration, the Chief Minister offered prayers at the feet of Mata Ramchandi, seeking peace, prosperity, and happiness for the people of the state. He said that coming to this sacred land of Jhagarpur brought him inner peace. He added that this temple is not only a symbol of faith but also a strong emblem of cultural consciousness and unity within society. “The soul of India resides in its culture and traditions,” he said. “Where women are respected, there dwells the divine.”
He emphasized that parents are the truest form of God, saying, “If parents are happy, all the gods remain pleased.” He appealed to everyone to uphold respect and a spirit of service toward the elders in their families.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is working with a commitment to good governance, transparency, and development. The process of e-governance has been initiated, and continuous action is being taken against corruption. He informed that within 18 to 19 months of forming the government, most of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantees have been fulfilled — farmers have been paid the pending bonus of two years, the paddy procurement limit has been raised from 15 quintals to 21 quintals per acre, and the support price fixed at ₹3,100 per quintal.
He further said that under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, women are receiving a monthly assistance of ₹1,000. As many as 18 lakh houses have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Several welfare schemes — such as the Landless Labour Assistance Scheme, Tendu Leaf Procurement at ₹5,500 per standard bag, Ram Lalla Darshan Scheme, and Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana — are being run in the public interest.
Highlighting that Chhattisgarh is a state rich in resources, he said, “With public cooperation and proper utilization of resources, we are writing new chapters of development. ‘Chhattisgarhiya sabse badhiya’ is not merely a slogan, but our working culture.”
The Chief Minister added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has today launched two major schemes with a total outlay of ₹35,440 crore — the Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Mission for Self-Reliance in the Pulses Sector. These initiatives mark a historic step toward increasing farmers’ income and achieving self-reliance in agriculture. He said continuous efforts are being made to strengthen irrigation facilities, boost agricultural production, and ensure rural prosperity. He noted that reforms in land registry systems have brought greater transparency and accountability in governance. “Our aim is not just to create schemes but to ensure that their benefits reach the last person. The trust of the people is our greatest asset,” he added.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai made the following announcements for development in the region:
- ₹25 lakh for the construction of a community hall in Jhagarpur,
