Wood Sculpture Artist Shri Vishwakarma Meets CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met Shri Buddhasen Vishwakarma, a resident of Baikunthpur in Rewa district, at the Samvad Bhavan, Chief Minister’s residence, on Sunday. Shri Vishwakarma presented the Chief Minister with a self-crafted wooden sculpture.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav closely observed the artwork and highly appreciated Shri Vishwakarma’s skill and dedication. He announced a cash award of ₹1 lakh in recognition of the artist’s talent.
Shri Buddhasen Vishwakarma has created a beautiful wooden carving depicting a cultural or religious theme. The intricate ‘Hastkala Nakkashi’ or wood sculpture artistically portrays traditional dance expressions and mythological figures.
