Post list of top 10 criminals at police stations, take strict action against land mafia: CM Yogi
Ambedkar Nagar / Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Wednesday that the list of the top 10 criminals in the district should be displayed in police stations, and effective action taken against copying, cattle, mining, and land mafia.
During his one-day visit to Ambedkar Nagar following a two-day tour of Ayodhya, the Chief Minister held a review meeting on development works and law and order in the district.
Emphasizing the need to maintain a fear-free environment, the CM highlighted that the safety of women should be a top priority. He instructed the reactivation of the Anti Romeo Squad team and directed district-level officers to ensure public hearings and communication. Additionally, he stressed the importance of the timely and quality resolution of complaints received on the IGRS and Chief Minister Helpline Portal, with complainant satisfaction being a top priority.
Additionally, the Chief Minister mentioned that the Trinetra Abhiyan should be successfully implemented and extended to everybody and gram panchayat.
In the meeting held in the Collectorate auditorium, CM Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to improve the functioning of the medical college and conduct regular reviews. He also directed them to submit proposals for tehsils lacking fire stations.
CM Yogi emphasized the importance of advance flood preparations, ensuring no compromise in the quantity and quality of relief materials provided to flood-affected individuals and families.
Regarding the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, he stated that the Indian flag should be hoisted on every house, and voluntary organizations should be involved.
Additionally, he mentioned that the Kakori Train Action Centenary Festival should be celebrated on August 9, 2024. During this time, he instructed the Superintendent of Police to maintain excellent law and order in the district for the event.
During the review meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath directed officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the district. He instructed that in the event of a transformer failure, it should be replaced within a maximum of 24 hours in rural areas and 12 hours in urban areas. The District Magistrate was instructed to regularly review the power supply situation.
The Executive Engineer of Jal Nigam was instructed to expedite the completion of works in all rural areas under the Jal Jeevan Mission (Har Ghar Jal Yojana) and to ensure that all road cutting works related to this scheme are 100% corrected.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the Animal Husbandry Department’s efforts regarding animal vaccination and other arrangements. He directed the department to ensure that no animals are found roaming on roads or in public places. Special attention was to be given to providing green fodder for animals, maintaining cleanliness in animal shelters, and ensuring other necessary facilities.
In the meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath directed the Chief Medical Officer to proactively prepare for awareness campaigns, fogging, and anti-larvae spraying to effectively control malaria and dengue under communicable disease management.
The District Basic Education Officer was directed to complete the enhancement of basic infrastructure in the remaining council schools in the district according to Operation Kayakalp parameters and to address the teacher-student ratio at each school. Additionally, the District School Inspector was instructed to conduct regular visits to schools to ensure a high standard of education.
In the meeting, CM Yogi instructed for extensive publicity of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. He also emphasized the need for improved cleanliness and basic urban facilities, such as drainage and traffic management, in all municipal bodies and nagar panchayats. Proper arrangements for garbage management in these areas were also mandated.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of connecting industries with employment opportunities, organizing rozgar melas periodically, and resolving revenue disputes, measurement issues, inheritance, and land use matters in mission mode.
During the flood prevention review, CM Yogi directed officials in all districts to closely monitor sensitive and highly sensitive embankments. He emphasized that all preparations for relief work in flood-affected areas must be completed promptly, with no laxity allowed. He stressed the importance of ensuring advance flood preparations and maintaining the highest standards in both the quantity and quality of relief materials provided to affected individuals and families.
District Magistrate Avinash Singh, Superintendent of Police Dr. Kaustubh, the Chief Development Officer, and several other senior district-level officers were present at the meeting.
