Establishing ICT Labs under the PM SHRI Yojana
Around 1200 ICT labs have been set up in government schools under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and PM SHRI Yojana in the state. The cost of an ICT lab is Rs. 6,40,000. Ten computers have been installed in a lab. Computer education is being imparted to the students through ICT labs.
Under the Smart Class Scheme of the Central Government, Smart Class has been created in 891 government schools by the School Education Department. The cost of a smart class is 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees. Under the Smart Class Scheme, efforts are being made to develop two classes of each government school as smart classes. In addition, under the STARS project, robotics labs have been set up in 52 CM Rise schools of the state.
Summer camp
For the leadership and personality development of the students studying in CM Rise School, 30 thousand students from 274 CM Rise Schools of the state and more than 7,500 students from 89 schools of PM Sri participated in the summer camp. During the summer camp, students were taught leadership development skills, yoga, sports, dance, singing, etc. by subject experts.
Eco Club for Mission Life
Instructions have been given to organize activities under Eco Club for Mission Life to develop an understanding of the correlation between water, health, and school environment among school students. As per the directive issued to the District Education Officer, subject experts have been called from time to time in schools to deliver lectures to develop an understanding of the correlation between water, health, and the school environment. In addition, schools will have essay competitions on the importance of safe and clean drinking water, as well as speech competitions on human health and waste disposal. These activities should be held on a saturday(Bagless Day) .
