Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that special efforts will be made for animal husbandry and milk production in the state by empowering Sanchi Milk Union and employees through committees. No employee or outsourced employee of Sanchi Milk Union will be fired from the job. Special efforts will be made to double the current milk production in the state. Sanchi brand will be further strengthened. On Saturday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the employee dialogue program organised at Sanchi Milk Plant located at Mangalia in Indore. He also inspected the plant of Sanchi Dugdh Sangh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lord Krishna was fondly called Gopal. Due to his love for Gau Mata (mother cow), he felt happy to be called Gopal throughout his life. He gave place to peacock feather on his crown. Lord Shri Krishna always gave importance to mother cow. He indicated to get connected to animal husbandry as a source of income as well as to life nectar (milk).
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the double engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is making special efforts for the development of every section. He said that there are more than 51 thousand villages in Madhya Pradesh. Despite this, we are behind other states in milk production. Madhya Pradesh will be made number one in milk production by developing milk production and products made from it. Milk production and co-operative societies related to it will be strengthened in the state. No employee of Sanchi Dugdh Sangh will have to take VRS and no outsourced employee will be fired. To strengthen the Dugdh Sangh, these employees will be made its partners. He said that special efforts will also be made to increase its turnover by increasing milk production in the state. Bonus will be given to cattle farmers on milk purchase in Madhya Pradesh. Capacity of the existing committees of the Dugdh Sangh will be developed and special efforts will be made to increase the consumption of Sanchi milk and its products along with milk production in the state. He informed that an MoU has been signed with National Dairy Development. Sanchi brand will be further strengthened through cooperation. He said that the agricultural growth rate in Madhya Pradesh has been 25 percent. To further promote animal husbandry, in the new scheme, cattle farmers who rear more than 10 cows will be given the benefit of subsidy on animal husbandry and milk production.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that for the protection of old livestock in the state, they are being kept in gaushalas (cow shelters). The subsidy for cow shelters has also been increased. He said that special conferences will also be organised to increase the milk production of farmers in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with the employees of the Dugdh Sangh and assured them of all possible co-operation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was presented a memento on behalf of Sanchi Milk Union. Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsi Silawat, Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Kavita Patidar, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, MLAs Smt. Malini Gaud, Shri Madhu Verma, Shri Manoj Patel and Shri Golu Shukla, Shri Gaurav Randive, Dugdh Sangh President Shri Moti Singh Patel, Milk Union employees and dignitaries were present in the programme. MD of Sanchi Dugdh Sangh Dr. Satish Kumar S. gave information about the works of the Dugdh Sangh.
