Retirement Ceremony of Deputy Secretary Raghuveer Singh in the Legislative Assembly: “Do Your Best with a Collective Spirit” — Speaker of the Legislative Assembly

Jaipur : Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani emphasized the importance of working with a sense of collectivity, stating, “The Legislative Assembly belongs to all of us, so do your best with a spirit of togetherness.” He encouraged everyone to maintain practical thinking in life, saying that while one may retire from service, they should never feel weary in life and should continue to contribute through hard work.

Shri Devnani made these remarks during the retirement ceremony held on Tuesday in the Legislative Assembly, in honor of Deputy Secretary Shri Raghuveer Singh, who is retiring after a distinguished tenure. Shri Devnani noted that during discussions in Legislative Assembly conferences, it was acknowledged that the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is among the best in the country. He attributed this recognition to the contributions of every employee and officer.

Special Secretary of the Legislative Assembly, Shri Bharat Bhushan Sharma, delivered the welcome address, and the retiring Deputy Secretary, Shri Raghuveer Singh, shared his experiences. The event was attended by Special Assistant Mr. K.K. Sharma, Senior Deputy Secretary Mr. Purushottam Sharma, Deputy Secretary Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, along with other officers and staff members. Shri Devnani honored Shri Raghuveer Singh by presenting him with a turban, shawl, and memento. The Chairman of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Savings and Credit Cooperative Society, Mr. Ravi Jain, expressed his gratitude to the Speaker for his leadership.

Oath Ceremony for the Cooperative Society Executive Committee—

On the same day, Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani administered the oath of office to the newly elected executive officers and members of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Secretariat Employees Savings and Credit Cooperative Society. Those sworn in included Mr. Ravi Kumar Jain as Chairman, Mr. Ajay Sharma as Vice Chairman, Mr. Suresh Meena as Secretary, and Mr. Yogesh Tripathi as Treasurer. Additional committee members included Abha Rastogi, Rasik Bihari Meena, Bhanu Prakash Sharma, Anita Sharma, Ritesh Modi, Naresh Kumar Joshi, Ravindra Nainawat, and Deepak Sharma. Shri Devnani congratulated the new office bearers, urging them to work with dedication and foster mutual harmony within the committee, emphasizing the importance of sharing in each other’s joys and sorrows. Chairman Shri Ravi Jain also presented a detailed plan for the committee’s future activities.

Tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri—

Shri Vasudev Devnani paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries. He remarked that the day symbolizes respect for past struggles, and we should follow the path of sacrifice shown by both leaders to actively contribute to the nation’s development.

Indira Sharma Becomes the First Woman Deputy Secretary in the Legislative Assembly—

Shri Devnani also congratulated Mrs. Indira Sharma on becoming the first woman Deputy Secretary of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Mrs. Sharma, who was promoted from Assistant Secretary, expressed her gratitude to Shri Devnani for this achievement. The women employees of the Legislative Assembly also thanked the Speaker for ensuring timely promotions, noting that previously, two women had only received promotions after their retirement.
