Deputy Speaker Attends Government Kolasib College Closing Program

Kolasib : Today, the closing ceremony of the Government Kolasib College Week was held at the Government Kolasib College Auditorium. The program was graced by Pu Lalfamkima, Deputy Speaker of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly, as the Chief Guest.

In his speech, the Chief Guest highlighted that while college life is enjoyable, it is also a crucial time for shaping one’s mind. He emphasized the importance of having clear goals during student life and encouraged students to use their time wisely for their academic and personal development. He mentioned that making the most of time is essential, especially for students who are still in the formative years of their education, and advised them to stay focused. He also encouraged students to take advantage of the Kolasib MYC (Multipurpose Youth Centre) for competitive preparations and praised the structured and dedicated teaching in the college for contributing to their success.

Pu Lalfamkima further urged the students to protect themselves from distractions and to live a disciplined life. He advised them to face any difficulties with strong determination and clear thinking. He assured them that, just like any challenge, their current hardships would eventually pass, and they would emerge stronger. He encouraged them to continue cultivating a positive outlook for the future.

Today’s Government Kolasib College Week Closing Program was led by Misael Lalngaihsaka, General Secretary of the Student Union, with Lalruathlua, AGS, presenting the report. The event also featured the screening of a Government Kolasib College Music Video. Following this, the Deputy Speaker participated in the launch of the College Magazine.
