Sanctions ₹163.81 Crores for Bonus and Pongal Gift for 2023-2024

Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru. M.K. Stalin has issued an order allocating ₹163.81 crore to provide bonuses and Pongal gifts for the year 2023-2024. This initiative benefits Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ employees, pensioners, family pensioners, and former village administrative staff.

Key Details of the Allocation:

1. Bonus for Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ Employees and Teachers:
   • Eligible employees and teachers will receive a maximum bonus of ₹3,000.
2. Special Ad-hoc Bonus:
   • Workers, including seasonal staff and temporary employees who have completed 240 days or more of service in the financial year 2023-2024, will receive a special bonus of ₹1,000.
3. Pongal Gift for Pensioners:
   • Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ pensioners, family pensioners, former village assistants (including ex-village administrative officers), and Anganwadi special pensioners will receive a Pongal gift of ₹500.
