Jaipur : Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari’s birthday was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Thursday. Various institutions and organizations organized several programs on this occasion. Thousands of people, including dignitaries from Jaipur’s Vidyadhar Nagar constituency and across the state, extended their heartfelt birthday wishes to her.

To mark her birthday, blood donation camps were organized, and food was distributed in the Kishan Bagh settlement.

On her birthday, Deputy CM Diya Kumari visited Moti Doongri Ganesh Ji and Govind Dev Ji temples, offering prayers for the prosperity and well-being of the state.

On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, she paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by offering floral respects at his statue in the Secretariat.

She flagged off the Kumbh Yatra bus from Sarveshwar Temple near Balaji College on Benad Road.
Launch of Millets Chikki & Peanuts Millets Chikki Nutri Bars Distribution
As a pilot initiative, Diya Kumari launched the distribution of Millets Chikki and Peanuts Millets Chikki Nutri Bars at designated Anganwadi centers in the Vidyadhar Nagar constituency. This program, initiated by the Directorate of Integrated Child Development Services (Women & Child Development Department), aims to combat malnutrition among children aged 6 months to 6 years, as well as pregnant and lactating mothers.
Under this initiative, beneficiaries will receive:
- Multi-Millet Nutri Bars (20g per serving) three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
- Milky Millet Bars (30g per serving) three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).
The initiative is being self-funded under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
