CM Dhami Conducts On-Site Inspection of Rain-Affected Areas in Raipur Region, Dehradun

Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday conducted an on-site inspection of areas affected by heavy rainfall under the Raipur region in Dehradun. During his visit, he inspected locations such as Kirsali Chowk, I.T. Park, Nanurkheda, Amwala, Tapovan, and Shanti Vihar, where he met local residents and listened to their grievances.

The Chief Minister assured them that public safety is the topmost priority of the state government. He directed the district administration to extend all possible assistance to those affected. Emphasizing the need for preventive measures, he instructed that drains should be cleaned regularly and proper drainage systems should be ensured in waterlogged areas.

CM Dhami also ordered that warning boards be placed in vulnerable zones and that special precautions be taken in such locations. He further directed the local police and all concerned departments to remain on high alert and to ensure prompt response in case of any emergency. He stressed minimizing response time and making every possible effort to safeguard lives and property.

On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Naresh Bansal, Vice Chairman of the Disaster Management Advisory Committee Shri Vinay Ruhela, MLA Shri Umesh Sharma Kau, and district administration officials were present.
