Apex Bank Marks 44th Foundation Day; Keifang Branch Launches Community Outreach
Saitual : The Mizoram Cooperative Apex Bank celebrated its 44th Foundation Day on July 31. As part of the occasion, various branches of the bank across districts initiated outreach activities for the public.
At the Keifang Branch in Saitual District, special financial donations were extended to three local institutions: Hlimna In (Girls’ Home), Serenity Boys Home, and the Saitual Observation Home. In addition, the bank distributed tree saplings and refreshments to all its customers. The branch manager, Ms. Lalrempuii Varte, personally handed over the financial assistance to the caretakers of the homes.
On July 31, the Apex Bank will also sponsor fares for passengers on City Bus No. 20 operating in Aizawl. Furthermore, passengers traveling on City Bus No. 16 — covering the route between Ngaizel and Zemabawk — will be offered free rides as a gesture from the bank. Bus services to and from Sihphir and Ramrikawn will also see two trips each operated free of charge on the day.
Additionally, Apex Bank staff and branch managers across districts are planning to provide two-wheeler and auto-rickshaw transport services for the public as part of their outreach efforts.
