‘Ekta March’ to be Held in Jaipur on October 31 to Mark Sardar Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary

Jaipur, Oct 2025 — To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a grand ‘Ekta March’ (Unity March) will be organized in Jaipur on October 31, starting at 6 AM from Gandhi Circle, announced Dr. Neeraj Kumar Pawan, Secretary of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Dr. Pawan visited the site from Gandhi Circle to Amar Jawan Jyoti on Wednesday and issued necessary directions to officials regarding preparations for the march.

He informed that the route of the Ekta March will begin from Gandhi Circle, passing through Birla Mandir, Rambagh, and Ambedkar Circle, and will culminate at Amar Jawan Jyoti. The march will see participation from dignitaries, students from various educational institutions, NSS and NCC cadets, youth leaders, police and RAC personnel, Home Guards, employee unions, NGOs, government officials, and a large number of citizens.

Earlier, at a review meeting held in the conference hall of Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Dr. Pawan reviewed the progress of preparations with officials. He directed all concerned departments to work in coordination to ensure the successful organization of the march, and to make arrangements for maximum public participation and necessary facilities for the participants.

Officials from the District Administration, Information and Public Relations Department, DOIT, Tourism Department, Jaipur Municipal Corporation (Greater), Medical and Health Department, Scouts and Guides, and Higher Education Department were present during the meeting.
