State Government’s Second Anniversary: Water Resources Minister Inaugurates District Development Exhibition in Ajmer
Jaipur, December 2025 : On the occasion of the completion of two years of the state government, Water Resources Minister Shri Suresh Singh Rawat inaugurated a three-day district development exhibition on Tuesday at the Information Center Art Gallery in Ajmer, under the theme “New Rise – New Identity, Growing Rajasthan – Our Rajasthan.” He also released the District Development Booklet detailing the government’s achievements and initiatives over the past two years. District Collector Shri Lok Bandhu reviewed the exhibition and discussed development projects with officials.
During the exhibition, Minister Rawat provided detailed information about the state government’s accomplishments over its two-year tenure. Visitors explored the exhibition, which showcased the flagship and welfare schemes implemented by various departments, along with innovations introduced in the last two years.
Shri Rawat congratulated the government on its successful two-year term and said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma and in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Developed India 2047, the state government is realizing its commitment to comprehensive development across Rajasthan. He highlighted the unprecedented progress made in all sectors during the last two years and praised the effective implementation of the 2024-25 and 2025-26 budget announcements, most of which have already been executed, with continuous monitoring to ensure completion of ongoing projects.
He mentioned that through the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit, the state government signed MOUs worth ₹35 lakh crore, with ground-breaking underway for projects worth ₹8 lakh crore. Rajasthan has also achieved self-reliance in electricity production, with over 5,000 MW capacity installed. More than 92,000 youth received appointment letters, with over 100,000 recruitments in process.
Shri Rawat further highlighted women’s empowerment initiatives, stating that over 19 lakh women have received training, and 11 lakh women have been made “Lakhpati Didi.” Ajmer has received historic developmental benefits in both budgets, including the Mor Sagar Dam under ERCP to address drinking water challenges. The dam’s work order has been issued, with construction ongoing and an expenditure of over ₹4,700 crore. Water supply to the district will later be ensured via the Bisalpur Dam.
He also noted that the Kisan Samman Nidhi has been increased and various development projects continue across the district. To spread awareness, Vikas Raths (mobile development exhibitions) are being operated to inform citizens about government initiatives and welfare schemes.
The event was attended by CEO of the District Council Shri Ram Prakash, Dehat President Shri Jeetmal Prajapat, City President Shri Ramesh Soni, former Pradhan Shri Dileep Prachar, Shri Arjun Singh Rawat, Shri Arjun Nalia, Additional District Collector Smt. Vandana Khorwal, Ajmer Development Authority Deputy Commissioner Smt. Nisha Saharan, and officials from the Information and Public Relations Department, along with prominent citizens.
