Rajasthan Discoms Win Gold Award for Excellence in Energy Sector

Jaipur, Jan 2026: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan is making significant strides toward self-reliance in the energy sector. At the Annual Awards Ceremony of the All India Discoms Association held in Delhi, Rajasthan Discoms were honored with the Gold Award by Union Power Minister Manohar Lal for outstanding performance in Component-C of the PM-KUSUM Scheme.

The award was presented to Chief Minister Sharma by Rajasthan Discoms Chairman Aarti Dogra on Wednesday evening. Expressing his happiness over this achievement, the Chief Minister congratulated all officers and employees of Rajasthan Discoms. He stated that the state government, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, remains committed to promoting the use of solar energy and solar pumps among farmers to provide clean, affordable energy and boost their income. This recognition strengthens Rajasthan’s commitment to providing daytime electricity to farmers by 2027.
