Regulation Of Trains For Construction Of Limited Height Subway In Krishnanagar – Lalgola Section

Kolkata : In a significant stride towards enhancing safety and convenience for local commuters, Eastern Railway is constructing Limited Height Subway (LHS) in lieu of Level Crossing Gate No. 87/E (non-interlocking gate) in Krishnanagar City – Lalgola Section. Local residents and commuters using these gates will experience increased convenience and reduced travel time, contributing to an improved quality of life. The LHS also significantly reduce the risk associated with Level crossing providing a safer passage for both pedestrians and vehicles. Accordingly, for construction of Limited Height Subway, 6½ hours (09:45 hrs. to 16:15 hrs.) traffic & power block has been planned on 25.01.2025 (Saturday). Consequently, following arrangement in train running have been made as under:

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS ON 25.01.2025 (SATURDAY):

• Krishnanagar – Lalgola : Up 31861/ Down 31864
• Lalgola – Sealdah : Down 53178/ Up 53175

SHORT TERMINATION/SHORT ORIGINATION AND RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS ON SATURDAY (25.01.2025):

• 31773 Ranaghat – Lalgola Passenger will be short terminated at Muragacha and 31768 Lalgola – Ranaghat Passenger will be short originated from Muragacha instead of Lalgola.
• 31769 Ranaghat – Lalgola EMU Passenger will be short terminated at Muragacha and 31770 Lalgola – Ranaghat EMU passenger will be short originated from Muragacha instead of Lalgola.
• 63107 Sealdah – Lalgola MEMU will be short terminated at Muragacha and 63104 Lalgola – Sealdah MEMU short originated from Muragacha instead of Lalgola.
• 31819 Sealdah – Krishnanagar local will be short terminated at Ranaghat and 31840 Krishnanagar – Sealdah local will be short originated from Ranaghat instead of Krishnanagar.
• 63101 Kolkata – Lalgola MEMU will be short terminated at Ranaghat on 24.01.2025 (Friday) and 63102 Lalgola – Kolkata MEMU will be short originated from Ranaghat on 25.01.2025.

• 31774 Lalgola – Ranaghat will leave Lalgola at 14:45 hrs instead of 14:00 hrs and controlled enroute upto Plassey.
