Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid his respects and extended a shoulder to the mortal remains of the late Shri Dinesh Mirania, a businessman from Chhattisgarh who tragically lost his life in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Attending the funeral, the Chief Minister offered floral tributes and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Meeting the bereaved family, CM Sai expressed his deepest condolences and assured them of full support from the government during this time of profound grief. He affirmed that the state government would stand by the family and provide all necessary assistance.
CM Sai also announced plans to honor the memory of the late Dinesh Mirania by naming a road or public square after him, ensuring that his legacy remains etched in the hearts of the people.
Condemning the attack, the Chief Minister said, “This cowardly act of terrorism has wounded the soul of the nation. It is a moment of collective sorrow and pain for the entire state. We have lost one of our own sons to this heinous crime.”
Highlighting the broader implications of the attack, he added, “The abrogation of Article 370 had brought peace to Jammu and Kashmir, promoting tourism and development in the valley. This act of terror was an attempt to destabilize both Kashmir and the nation by targeting tourists. But the nation stands united and will avenge this inhuman act.”
He further stated that Pakistan, under whose influence this attack was carried out, would have to face the consequences.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, MLAs Shri Kiran Dev and Shri Rajesh Munat, and Chairman of Civil Supplies Corporation Shri Sanjay Srivastava were among the many dignitaries and citizens who were present to pay their final respects.
