Our resolve, to spread the ideals of Lord Rama in country: Guv

 The first anniversary of the installation of the divine idol of Lord Shri Ram was  observed with great enthusiasm at Raj Bhawan on Saturday. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Lady Governor Janaki Shukla after performing Pooja prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of all the citizens of the State.

The idol of Lord Rama was installed at Raj Bhavan on 5 July, 2024.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that the divine idol would always remind us of the ideals of Maryada Purushottam Ram and will keep inspiring us to tread upon the path of truth, righteousness, and humbleness.

 “Our resolve is to spread a vision of Rama’s ideals that treats everyone with sam drishti (equality), thus paving way for creation of Ram Rajya in the country”, he said adding that the principles of good governance, compassion and selfless service defines Rama’s rule which act as a guiding force for all of us..

Secretary to Governor C.P.Verma was also present among other staff members.
