Deputy CM Diya Kumari Offers Prayers at Shri Nathji Temple, Reviews Development and Budget Schemes in Nathdwara

Jaipur, Aug 2025 : Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari visited Nathdwara, the holy city of Lord Shri Nathji, in Rajsamand district on Sunday. She first bowed at the lotus feet of Shri Nathji, praying for the prosperity and well-being of the state. Receiving divine blessings through the darshan marked the spiritual essence of her Nathdwara visit. She was also greeted by Goswami Vishal Bawa, who welcomed her with traditional honors.

Later, Deputy CM Diya Kumari reached New Cottage, where she chaired a review meeting with officials of the Public Works Department, Tourism Department, and the Department of Women and Child Development. She issued clear instructions that every eligible person must benefit from government schemes and no one should be left out. She emphasized that all schemes are designed for public welfare and must be implemented with complete dedication and transparency.

During the review of the tourism department, she inquired about the progress of developmental works at Jaldevi Temple in Railmagra, the beautification of Charbhuja Ji Temple and Dudhtalai, tourism projects in the Kumbhalgarh region, the restoration of Chhota Gopalpura’s stepwell, and the renovation of Sundar Vilas Kund in Nathdwara. She also discussed possibilities for new projects, including the ring road to the Dwarkadhish Temple in Kankroli. Stressing the cultural significance of Mewar, she said, “This sacred land is a heritage of culture and history, and it is our responsibility to enrich it and provide maximum facilities to tourists.”

Reviewing Public Works Department’s budget announcements, she assessed the progress of nearly 70 km of new road construction, strengthening, and blacktopping works on routes such as Kelwa–Amet, Madri–Lasani Tal via Amet–Devgarh, Charbhuja–Sewantri, and Badarda Puthiya–Farara Mahadev.

She also reviewed the schemes and budget announcements of the Women and Child Development Department, directing officials to ensure that every needy beneficiary receives the intended support. Discussions included the status of anganwadis, supplementary nutrition, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Mukhyamantri Matru Poshan Yojana, and Nandghar projects. Assessing the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) in the district, she instructed that, apart from the sanctioned repairs of anganwadi centers, other repairable buildings should also be taken up through DMFT and CSR funds. She further directed that the beneficiary FRS entries on the Nutrition Tracker must be completed 100% without delay.

On this occasion, Kumbhalgarh MLA Surendra Singh Rathore, Bhim MLA Harisingh Rawat, Rajsamand MLA Deepti Maheshwari, Nathdwara MLA Vishwaraj Singh Mewar, along with several public representatives, party workers, and departmental officials were present.
