Housing Board’s 30th Annual Sports Meet Kicks Off with Enthusiasm

Jaipur, March 2026 : The 30th Annual Employees’ Sports Competition organized by the Rajasthan Housing Board began on Thursday with great enthusiasm and energy. The event was inaugurated by Housing Commissioner Dr. Rashmi Sharma, who marked the opening by releasing balloons into the sky.

Board Secretary Gopal Singh, Chief Engineer Amit Agarwal, T.S. Meena, Prateek Srivastava, and other officials and committee members were present on the occasion.

Encouraging the participants, the Commissioner said that sports not only strengthen physical health but also foster team spirit, discipline, and a healthy sense of competition.

The four-day event features a range of sports, including athletics races, football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, carrom, chess, and a 100-meter race for women. A total of 240 खिलाड़ियों are participating in the competition, including 220 men and 20 women.

The sports arena witnessed high energy and competitive spirit, with participants showcasing their talent with enthusiasm. The event will continue for four days, culminating in awards for winners across various categories.

The competition aims to promote coordination among employees while encouraging a healthy and active work culture.
