CM Bhajanlal Sharma Reviews Camp under Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight : Upliftment of Farmers, Youth, Workers, and Women is Our Priority

Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized that Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay believed a strong nation can only be built by uplifting the person at the last rung of society. The Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight is a significant step toward realizing that vision. He asserted that the government is actively working for the empowerment of women, farmers, youth, and laborers, ensuring the benefits of development reach all segments of society.

Speaking at a public meeting during the fortnightly campaign at Government Senior Secondary School, Baler (Khandar), Sawai Madhopur, CM Sharma lauded the region’s natural beauty and historical heritage, including Ranthambore National Park and its globally renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site – Ranthambore Fort, as well as the district’s famed guavas.

Camps Strengthening Grassroots Governance

The Chief Minister said these camps are bridging gaps between government administration and the public, ensuring that no citizen is left behind in the development journey. Through the camps, issues such as land disputes, plant distribution, soil sample collection, soil health cards, livestock insurance, animal healthcare and vaccination, Ayushman card distribution, and free health services are being addressed.

In Sawai Madhopur, the camps have resolved:

  • 410 boundary identification cases
  • 228 road-related disputes
  • 161 amicable land partition cases

Additionally, 689 ownership cards have been distributed, and 33,414 plants have been handed out.

Firm Commitment to Youth Employment

CM Sharma stated that the state government is fully committed to fulfilling Rajasthan’s key priorities. To improve water availability, projects like ERCP for Eastern Rajasthan, Yamuna water agreement for Shekhawati, and work on Indira Gandhi Canal, Dewas, Mahi, and Narmada projects are being accelerated.

He added that under the Rising Rajasthan initiative, MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore have been signed. Adequate provisions have been made to make Rajasthan self-reliant in electricity.

He proudly declared that not a single paper leak has occurred during his government’s 1.5-year tenure, and they are committed to creating 4 lakh government and 6 lakh private sector job opportunities in 5 years.

Outperforming the Previous Government

CM Sharma said his administration achieved more in 1.5 years than the previous government did in 5 years. Highlights include:

  • 253.3 lakh meters of farm fencing (vs. 113 lakh meters earlier)
  • 29,343 hectares allocated for renewable energy projects (vs. 22,597 hectares earlier)
  • 646 LOAs under KUSUM-A and 2,091 under KUSUM-C (vs. 489 and 57 respectively)
  • Over 32,000 farmers received grants for farm ponds (vs. 29,430 earlier)

He reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to Rajasthan’s development.

Development Across All Constituencies

The CM highlighted that each constituency is receiving focused development. For Khandar constituency, ₹350 crore has been allocated. Projects include:

  • 132 kV GSS in Shivad and Bahravanda Khurd
  • Widening of roads, construction of river crossings, upgrading Khandar CHC to sub-district hospital
  • RCC culverts and new roads including Pancholas to Phalodi, and Kalayanpura Nala RCC bridge

He also announced the construction of the Baler–Karanpur Road at a cost of ₹10 crore.

Certificates Distributed to Beneficiaries

During the event, CM Sharma distributed certificates and cheques to:

  • Praveen Bairwa (NFSA beneficiary)
  • Mrs. Saroj (Kanyadaan Yojana)
  • Mrs. Sampatti Devi (Old Age Pension)
  • Ramveer Meena (Swamitva land title)
  • Mrs. Meena Devi (PM Awas Yojana)

He also participated in a tree plantation drive under the environmental initiative and inspected the Sambal Fortnight camp, receiving gratitude from the public for quick grievance redressal.

The event saw participation from MLA Shri Jitendra Gothwal, public representatives, officials, and a large number of citizens.
